Lessons on how to Stop Barking

Six-week Puppy Course
1hr per week on each of the following:

(Week 1)

- The positives of positive reinforcement
- Getting you puppy to pay attention to you
- The name game(teaching your puppy to respond to their name
- Accuracy and tone of voice
- Importance of rewarding correct responses immediately lure and reward.
- TEACHING your dog to allow himself to be handled

(Week 2)

- Review 1st week
- How to clean ears & brush teeth
- Sit on command and reliable come command when called (Very IMPORTANT could save his or her life)

(Week 3)

- Review first two weeks to make sure owner and beloved pet are on the exact same page
- How to clip and file nails
- How to teach dog not to mouth or use teeth to get their way

(Week 4)

- Review 1st 3 weeks
- Review and test owner on whats been accomplished so far
- Make sure every member of the household is doing and using the same gestures, words and tone of voice
- Introduce the 'wait and take it' game which is very useful for introducing other behaviors

(Week 5)

- Review previous week
- How to brush and bathe your dog includes Hydrosurge bath under jays expert supervision
- Ear cleaning, if and how
- When to excrete anal glands
- Proper way to clean ears and brush or curry coat
- How to check for ticks, fleas, allergies and skin problems

(Week 6)

- Review 1st 5 weeks
- Question and answer session
- Outside behavior
- How to rate what we've learned in terms of the distractions
- We will visit the environment and determine what owners will need to do amidst every day distractions
- How to deal with and overcome them
